Alabama Trip Part I
A few weeks ago the Flores Clan took a trip to Alabama. I met up with them after work on a Friday in Pensacola, Florida.
That first night we had a bon fire and ate some hotdogs and marshmallows.
I came down with a cold for the first few days of the trip. I felt so miserable. I wanted to be friendly, play with Isaac (our nephew), and socialize, but in reality I just wanted to be at home in bed.
After much praying and taking nyquill and dayquill religiously, I felt better in just two days. When Andy's grandfather hugged me one morning and said "There's the Yesica we know!" I knew that I was back to normal and could finally enjoy this trip.
On the first official day, we got to explore inside Linda's old abandoned High School. It would be torn down a few days later, so we got to see the #BTS of the building. It was so cool to crawl into this building with my mother and father in law.
It was so awesome listening to Linda and her high school friends giggle down the hallways of the building remembering where they had class, and which hallway the would walk down with their friends. Truly something i will always remember and a very cool story to tell our children about their grandparents.
Here are some of the images we captured that day. We were only there for about 20minutes, and between sneezes and coughs, and wanting to explore and see more, we didn't have much chance to sit back and think about capturing an awesome crazy photo in an abandoned building.
We did however capture some cool quick images.
